Gulf Coast Medical Center

  • Gulf Coast Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center serving Lee County and the surrounding areas, houses the Neuroscience Institute, orthopedic and oncology services, an accredited comprehensive stroke center, colorectal, vascular and general surgery. The hospital offers 24/7 access to emergency care and minimally invasive catheter procedures to treat stroke and a has recently underwent a new expansion that features a floor dedicated to inpatient cancer care.

      • Expansion was opened two months ahead of schedule to help Lee Health meet the needs of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
      • A new north tower with 54 ICU beds will be opening in 2021.
